High-speed Scanning
Built for true business-level faxing, the UF-790 scans documents
quickly at a rate of 2.8 seconds per page. In combination
with the 50-sheet automatic document feeder, this makes
it possible for you to fax a multi-page document at the
touch of a button without having to wait around. Even if
you have several high-volume jobs at once, you still don’t
have to wait around. The UF-790’s standard high-capacity
flash memory can store up to 120 pages.
High-speed Transmission
As soon as the first page of a document set has been scanned,
the UF-790 starts dialing. Quick Memory Transmission immediately
transmits the scanned data to the destination. Fully compliant
with the ITU-T V.34 standard, the UF-790’s 33.6 kbps
Super G3 fax modem transmits a full-page image in as few
as 3 seconds. Even better, if you’re communicating
with another Panafax, exclusive Super Quick Handshaking
kicks in, dramatically reducing the actual time required
for the two faxes to exchange information.

a PC — 600 dpi Laser Printer
With the UF-790, convenient PC-linked features are available
right away via a built-in parallel interface and the provided
PC software. Just install the printer driver on your computer
and you can use the UF-790 as a high-quality 600 x 600 dpi
laser printer.
Even E-mail
It — Document Manager & PC-Fax
The Document Manager software makes it easy to send documents
via e-mail — just attach them directly to e-mail messages
with simple "drag & drop" operation (Scan-to-E-mail).
And, with the provided Panafax Desktop software, you can
send a fax directly from your PC via the UF-790 without
having to print it out.

The UF-790 can also function as a TWAIN-compatible 400 dpi
image scanner, allowing you to easily convert paper documents
into PC data (Scan-to-File). Using the provided Document
Manager software, scanned documents can be efficiently managed,
edited and even shared by network PCs.

Thanks to our Energy Saver technology, the UF-790’s
power consumption has been reduced to a mere 1.2 Wh in the
sleep mode.
Extended Reliability
With Check & Call, the UF-790 automatically reports
low toner status and certain mechanical problems to a service
center, while the Remote Diagnostic System enables our expert
technicians to quickly locate problems via a telephone line
